ITV News's John Irvine was reporting from Port-au-Prince within 24 hours of the earthquake striking Haiti in 2010. This was followed by days of BAFTA and RTS-winning news coverage of the disaster, aftermath and aid effort, with ITV News programmes presented live from the devastated country. ITV News continued to report the continuing situation from Haiti for many months following the disaster.
