News and Current Affairs

We produce high quality news and current affairs programmes for UK and international broadcasters. In 2011 alone, Discovery, Channel 4, ITV2 and Channel 5 commissioned fast-turnaround programmes from ITN Productions. We also delivered the critically-acclaimed documentary Sri Lanka’s Killing Fields for Channel 4.

Highly-experienced Editorial Director Chris Shaw leads the News and Current Affairs team with Executive Producer Fred Fenoulhet.

Factual and Features

 We have a strong track record in popular and innovative factual and features programming. We work with all major broadcasters including BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Five, History, National Geographic, Discovery and Living. Recent successes include the Broadcast Award winner Climbing Great Buildings (BBC2) and the highly acclaimed Mud Men (History).

Emma Read is the award-winning Head of Factual and Features and executive produces our factual output.

 Entertainment

ITN Productions is the biggest producer of showbiz content in the UK. ITV2, 5USA, 5*, Channel 5 and 4Music all feature our entertainment news. We also make The Movie Show for ITV and showbiz documentaries such as the recent Amy Winehouse tribute for ITV2.

Entertainment content is overseen by Executive Producer Jamie Scott and Chief Creative Officer Steve Carsey.

International

Our programmes are sold globally through distribution partners such as DRG and Cineflix, which also directly commissioned documentary Nuclear Meltdown for the world market. Our most recent international success was a commission for Discovery International broadcast in 210 countries. ITN Productions delivers primetime lifestyle and culture show The Cool Edition for ICS, the biggest English speaking channel in Shanghai.

Home Entertainment

ITN Productions is also responsible for DVD production, with recent successes being Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance 3D and the high-selling Royal Wedding DVD narrated by Sir Trevor McDonald.
