ITN PRODUCTIONS WINS CELEBRITY NEWS DEAL FOR HEAT TV
ITN Productions has won a deal to produce celebrity news programming for heat, the new TV channel being launched by Box TV, the joint venture between Channel 4 and Bauer.
Under the contract, ITN Productions will deliver celebrity and entertainment stories in the form of text and VTs for the channel’s rolling news programming. In addition, the team will produce a 60-minute weekly programme ‘heat’s HUGE week of news’ that will reveal a week’s worth of the latest insider celebrity gossip. ITN Productions will also co-produce a number of celebrity profile commissions.
The rolling news and heat’s HUGE week of news will be on the channel from its launch on Sky and Virgin Media platforms on 3rd July and will both be Executive Produced by Jamie Scott at ITN Productions and voiced by Sam Homewood and Andrea Lilly.
The deal continues ITN Productions’ successful relationship with Box TV which since October 2010 has delivered The Breakfast Fix on 4Music - the only youth-focused daily breakfast news show on Freeview.
