The next two week placement will be in October 2013 and can take place in ITV News, Channel 4 News, or ITN Productions. It is open to anyone in the UK over the age of 18.
Those who are interested in the work experience programme for ITV News and Channel 4 News will work alongside experienced news specialists and have the opportunity to learn what it takes to produce a high quality news programme.
Applicants for the work experience programme for ITN Productions will work with experienced producers and learn the techniques used to make long and short form news programmes.

Corporate Production Placements
In addition, ITN Productions is offering work experience placements to people interested in corporate video production. Successful candidates will get the opportunity to gain experience for a minimum of two weeks with ITN’s rapidly expanding Corporate and Creative Unit, whose portfolio covers television commercials, virals, AFP and internal communications for a range of public and private sector clients. This placement is for people who can demonstrate an active interest, either through experience or education, in corporate video production. Communities Executive - 6 Month FTC
ITN is one of the world’s most respected independent news organisations, producing news and programming for national and international broadcasters and clients.
We are currently looking for a Communities Executive to work across all digital platforms and be responsible for channel management across all ITN Productions YouTube channels. The role involves optimising ITN Productions content, managing metadata and key words, building a cohesive channel strategy and viewing experience. The successful candidate will be efficient in Adobe Photoshop, in tune with YouTube and have a good understanding of online communities. The candidate will also possess a flair for writing and have relevant experience and credits from other agencies/online channels.

You will be joining the new corporate programming arm reporting to the Head of Corporate Production. This role is a target driven telesales role and requires a high level of thought in dealing with prospective clients. You will need an interest in industry news issues, health, education, finance and government, as you will research your own leads. You will understand effective sales strategy and have the experience to get in direct contact with C-level executives, discuss the project and close the deal.
This is a role for someone who is aware of the business and news agenda, thrives on understanding issues and can engage senior executives in a sale.

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, the Research Analyst will provide a detailed analysis of viewer data across all ITN produced programmes, interpret research findings into actionable insights and translate data into innovative presentation formats.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in a research department within a media company or reserach agency/consultancy, show a proven ability to analyse and interpret raw research findings and have a strong passion for understanding viewer behaviour. Assistant News Editor, ITN Source News
ITN Source are looking for an Assistant News Editor to work in their busy News team on a fixed term contract, covering maternity leave.
ITN Source News is responsible for the daily News Syndication of ITN video content, including live events and Reporter packages, as well as providing broadcast facilities such as; studio hire, location truck hire and FTP delivery to a wide range of international broadcasters.
The Assistant News Editor will be assisting the Editor of ITN Source News, and will responsible for logging and shotlisting ITV and C4 News bulletins & Rushes footage daily, answering ITN Source News phones, dealing with callers and prioritising information; including fielding queries and facilitating special commissions from external clients. The role also involves organising playouts for FTP delivery of content for adhoc clients, and editing material for use on Ithe TN Source News Highlights website.
The successful candidate will be a great communicator, have the ability to work well under pressure and have a genuine interest in, and knowledge of, the news agenda coupled with good editorial judgement.

Junior Broadcast Support Engineer
ITN are looking for a Junior Broadcast Support Engineer to provide technical support for the TV studio and the production systems associated with producing ITN's news ouput.
The role will involve identifying technical problems in broadcast television studios and the production equipment, and repairing or resolving these problems efficiently. It will also involve assisting on special programmes, monitoring technical and production output and advising supervisors and technical management on infrastructure issues.
The successful candidate will have an engineering degree or equivalent level qualification, knowledge of digital and analogue systems, a high degree of computer literacy and some knowledge of broadcast television systems.
